President
Doug Grant
Doug is a Certified General Real Property Appraiser with William D. Otto Spence Real Estate. He has been with the firm since 2015. His focus is on eminent domain proceedings, civil suits, environmental contaminated properties and anything weird.
Doug has a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Eastern Kentucky University with emphasis in Biochemistry. He previously worked in Toxicology Department of Labcorp in several managerial positions. He has also worked at the University of Louisville Hormone Receptor Lab where he was on faculty/staff in University of Louisville Medical School where he aided in teaching Molecular Biology, supervised medical students in a laboratory environment and did laboratory testing. His roles with the university was in the study of environmental estrogens and progesterone's and other environmental contaminates related to Breast Cancer research.
Doug also serves in a part time capacity as Senior Pastor of Westport Road Christian Church.
Doug has been a member of the International Right of Way Association since April of 2018. He has served Chapter 25 in the capacity of Vice President, Treasurer, Newsletter Editor and Environmental Committee Chair.

Vice President
Chris Music, PMP, RWA-EU
Chris Music, PMP, RWA-EU is the Chief Operations Officer for Emerald Energy and Exploration Land Company and serves as ROW Program Manager for multiple electric transmission and oil/gas clients throughout the nation. Chris has been with the firm since 2011 and has played a major role in its successful growth into eight (8) different states. Chris has a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Management, an Associate’s degree in Motorsports Management, RWA-EU designation, and most recently obtained his Project Management Professional (PMP).
Throughout his career in the industry, Chris has either participated directly or overseen the successful acquisition of well over 500-miles of electric transmission line, 200-miles of gas pipeline, hundreds of gas/oil well pad locations, thousands of acres for renewable development, and miles upon miles of access roads required for accessing all project areas.
As Chapter 25’s new Vice President for the 2022-23 term he is looking forward to working with all officers, board members, local members as well as regional and national members alike increasing memberships, educational opportunities, rejuvenating interests from organizations/corporations that once were loyal, active members, and representing Chapter 25 meeting and exceeding the expectations of his peers.

Treasurer
Jamey L. Cash, P.E.
Jamey Cash oversees Strand Associates' municipal discipline in their Louisville, Kentucky office, where he applies his 20 years of experience to manage engineering and right of way acquisition projects. Jamey is a key member of Strand's right of way staff that helps serve the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, local municipalities, and various utilities. His design experience with roadway, sidewalk, and utility improvements give him a unique insight into overall project development that facilitates coordination between the acquisition and design staff and property owner communications. He has 15 years of experience in the right of way field as a project manager and acquisition agent where he negotiated with owners and representatives of residential, commercial, agricultural, and special use properties.
Jamey has been an IRWA member for a number of years and currently serves as the Treasurer for IRWA Chapter 25.
